Remove the applicable access panel for the dry bay for the boost pumps (AMM 28-22-41/401).

Prepare the external power control unit (PCU) (Fig. 204).
(a) Remove the cable assemblies from their container.
(b) Put the PCU on the top of its container.
(c) Make sure the PCU control panel is a minimum of 30 inches above
the ground.
(d) Put the container and the PCU near the applicable boost pumps.
(e) Make sure you can easily connect the PCU to the boost pumps
with the cables.
(f) Disconnect the connector plug for the airplane wire bundle at
the boost pump receptacle (AMM 28-22-41/401).
(g) Connect the applicable cable assembly between the PCU and the
airplane.
NOTE: Examine the marker instructions on the cable assembly____
and the chart. Make sure you have the correct airplane
model and the correct fuel component connections
(Fig. 204).
(h) Disconnect the connector plug for the airplane wire bundle at
the applicable low pressure switch on the wing front spar
(AMM 28-42-11/401).
(i) Connect the applicable cable assembly between the PCU and the
pressure switch on the wing front spar.
NOTE: Examine the marker instructions on the cable assembly____
and the chart. Make sure you have the correct airplane
model and the correct fuel component connections.
(j) Connect the cable assembly for the power supply to the ground
power cart or carts which supply 3-phase 115V AC and 28V DC.
NOTE: The end of the cable with the terminal lug goes to the____
ground power cart.
