Move the LIGHTS switch on the pilots' center panel (P2) to the BRT position (while the OVHT TEST switch is held).
(f)
Make sure that the intensity of the lights is bright.
(g)
Push one of the two MASTER CAUTION lights.
(h)
Make sure that the MASTER CAUTION lights and the AIR COND annunciator light go off.
(i)
Release the OVHT TEST switch.
(j)
Make sure that the two WING-BODY OVERHEAT lights on the P5-10 panel go off.
E. Put the Airplane Back to its Usual Condition

1. General_______
A. This section contains six tasks. The first task is the removal of the overheat sensor element in the wing and lower aft body. The second task is the installation of the sensor element. The third task is the removal of the aft keel beam overheat detection element. The fourth task is the installation of the aft keel beam overheat detection element. The fifth task is the removal of the right wing leading edge overheat detector. The sixth task is the installation of the right wing leading edge overheat detector.
B. The minimum element bend radius is one inch. The best bend radius is three inches.
C. The sensor element must be straight and away from the connector for one inch before bending.

Open the OVHT WHL WELL WING BDY circuit breaker on panel P6-2.

Disconnect the electrical connectors at each end of the sensor element.

Put covers on the open end of the electrical connectors with tape or caps to prevent damage.

(4)
Start at one end and remove the sensor element from each mounting clip.
