3. Install the Lavatory Smoke Detector (Fig. 401)___________________________________
A. Procedure

(1)
Attach the lanyard from the ceiling bracket to the smoke detector case.

Put the ceiling bracket on top of the smoke detector.

Loosely tighten the two mounting screws on the smoke detector case.

Connect the connector to the smoke detector.

Put the smoke detector into the ceiling.

Push on the screws until the ceiling bracket moves into its position.

Tighten the screws which hold the ceiling bracket in its position.

Put the faceplate on the smoke detector.

Tighten the two faceplate screws.

Close the PASS & CREW CALL/LAV SMOKE DETECTOR circuit breaker on the P18-4 panel.

Do a test of the Lavatory Smoke Detection System (Ref 26-14-00/501).
