Move the lock release mechanism to remove the smoke sensor from the smoke detector assembly.
(5)
Put a screwdriver in the slot between the sensor cover and the body.
(6)
Twist the screwdriver to release the cover lock.

Remove the mesh from the smoke sensor. S 967-006

If the mesh is very dirty, replace it with a new mesh. S 177-007

If the mesh is dirty, wash the mesh with a weak synthetic detergent and luke-warm water.

After you wash the mesh, dry it with compressed air. S 107-008
CAUTION:_______DO NOT VIOLENTLY BLOW AIR ON THE SENSOR. STATIC ELECTRICITY CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SENSOR ELECTRODES.

Lightly blow out the unwanted material from the sensor body with compressed air.
