Remove connector D12792 from the pressure switch on bottle 1.

 (b)  
Install a jumper between pins 2 and 3 on the pressure switch connector. 1) If the DISC light on the CARGO FIRE panel comes on, then do


 these steps:
 a) Remove the jumper.
 b) Replace fire bottle 1. These are the tasks:

 Cargo Fire Extinguisher Bottle Removal
 (AMM 26-23-01/401)
 Cargo Fire Extinguisher Bottle Installation
 (AMM 26-23-01/401)

 c)  If the installation test for the fire bottle is satisfactory, then you corrected the fault. 2) If the DISC light on the CARGO FIRE panel does not come on, then continue.
 (c)  
Remove connector D12816 from the pressure switch on bottle 2.

 (d)  
Install a jumper between pins 2 and 3 on the pressure switch connector. 1) If the DISC light on the CARGO FIRE panel comes on, then do


 these steps:
 a) Remove the jumper.
 b) Replace fire bottle 2. These are the tasks:

 Cargo Fire Extinguisher Bottle Removal
 (AMM 26-23-01/401)
 Cargo Fire Extinguisher Bottle Installation
 (AMM 26-23-01/401)

 c)  If the installation test for the fire bottle is satisfactory, then you corrected the fault. 2) If the DISC light on the CARGO FIRE panel does not come on, then remove the jumpers and continue.
 (3)  Do a check of the wiring from the pressure switch to the CARGO FIRE panel.
 (a)  Repair the wiring.

 CARGO BAY EXTINGUISHING - FAULT ISOLATION

 1.  General_______
 A.  This section contains the Fault Isolation procedures for the cargo bay fire extinguishing system. These include tasks for the squib test light, the discharge light, and for when the bottle does not discharge after the DISCH switch was pushed.
 TASK 26-23-00-812-020
 2.  Squib Test Light Fault Isolation________________________________
 A.  General
 (1)  
This task is for the EXT FWD and AFT lights on the CARGO FIRE panel.

 (2)  
The EXT FWD and AFT lights come on when the TEST switch pushed, to show there is continuity through the squibs. If the lights do not come on, then there is a problem with the discharge system.

 (3)  
These are the possible causes

 (a)  
Squib
 1) M2249 (bottle 1 forward)
 2) M2250 (bottle 1 aft)
 3) AIRPLANES WITH ETOPS;


 M2264 (bottle 2 forward) 4) AIRPLANES WITH ETOPS; M2265 (bottle 2 aft)
