Remove the protective caps and the jamnuts from element fittings.

(1) Install the fire sensing element as follows:
(a)
Remove the protective caps and jamnuts from the element fittings.
(b)
Insert the element fittings into the bracket on the forward muffler cone, then clamp sensing element into position.
(c)
Install the jamnuts.
