(a) Make sure these indications occur:
1) These lights on the P8-1 panel come on: a) ENG 1 OVERHEAT b) ENG 2 OVERHEAT c) fire switch handle for engine 1 d) the fire switch handle for engine 2 e) the fire switch handle for the APU f) WHEEL WELL
2) These lights on the P7 panel come on: a) FIRE WARN(2) b) MASTER CAUTION(2) c) OVHT/DET annunciator

6) FIRE WARN(2)
7) MASTER CAUTION(2)

(5) Set the LIGHTS switch on the P2-1 panel to the BRT position.
(a) Make sure these lights go back to the usual bright condition: 1) ENG 1 OVERHEAT 2) ENG 2 OVERHEAT 3) the fire switch handle for engine 1 4) the fire switch handle for engine 2 5) the fire switch handlefor the APU 6) FIRE WARN (2) 7) MASTER CAUTION (2) 8) OVHT/DET annunciator 9) WHEEL WELL

(6) Momentarily push the bell cutout switch on the P8-1 panel.
(a)
Make sure you do not hear the alarm bell.
(b)
Make sure the APU warning horn stops in approximately 3 seconds.
(c)
Make sure the two FIRE WARN lights go off.
(d)
Make sure the APU fire warning light in the main wheel well comes on continuously.

(7) Release the TEST switch on the P8-1 panel.
(a) Make sure all the lights on the P8-1 go off.

(a) Make sure these lights come on: 1) FAULT and APU DET INOP lights on the P8-1 panel. 2) MASTER CAUTION and OVHT/DET lights on the P7 panel. 3) four engine and one APU INOP light on the M279 module.
