J. Do the test of the circuits that stop the aural and visual fire warnings.

(1) Hold the TEST switch on the P8-1 panel to the OVHT/FIRE position.
(a)
Make sure these lights on the P8-1 panel come on: 1) the ENG 1 OVERHEAT light 2) the ENG 2 OVERHEAT light 3) all of the lights in the engine-1 fire switch 4) all of the lights in the engine-2 fire switch 5) all of the lights in the APU fire switch.
(b)
Make sure these lights on the P7 panel come on: 1) the two FIRE WARN lights 2) the two MASTER CAUTION lights 3) the OVHT/DET annunciator.
(c)
Make sure you hear the alarm bell in the control cabin.
(d)
Make sure you hear the warning horn in the wheel well.
(e)
Make sure the fire warning light in the main wheel well flashes.

(2) Push the BELL CUTOUT switch, on the Fire Control Panel, P8-1.
NOTE: If you push the HORN CUTOUT switch on the P28 panel, or either of the FIRE WARN lights on the P7 panel, the same conditions will occur. The BELL CUTOUT switch, the HORN CUTOUT switch, and the FIRE WARN switches cause the same resets, but from different locations.
(a)
Make sure the alarm bell stops immediately.
(b)
Make sure the warning horn stops after approximately three seconds.
(c)
Make sure the two FIRE WARN lights go off.
(d)
Make sure the fire warning light in the wheel well comes on continuously.

K. Do the test of the two loops of the fire warning system.
