WARNING:_______PUT A PROTECTIVE COVER ON THE FIRE BOTTLE SQUIB. IF YOU DO NOT PUT A PROTECTIVE COVER ON THE FIRE BOTTLE SQUIB, THE FIRE BOTTLE CAN RELEASE ITS CONTENTS SUDDENLY AND CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.

Put a protective cover on the FWD and AFT bottle squibs.

Remove the nut (4) to disconnect the ground strap from the bottle ground lug.

Disconnect the discharge tubes from the bottle discharge ports.

Install a cap on the bottle discharge ports.

Install a cap on the discharge tubes.

Remove the bolts (2) (three places) from the support bracket.

Open the forward cargo door, 4404R.

Remove the lining at the aft end of the forward cargo compartment to get access to the air conditioning distribution bay.

(6) Before you touch the squib, do the procedure for devices that are sensitive to electrostatic discharge (AMM 20-40-12/201).
F. Install the Bottle
