B. One red and one yellow indicator disk are on the lower right side of the body at station 1064.
C. One red indicator disc (bottle thermal discharge) and one yellow indicator disk (bottle discharge) are on the lower right side of the body at station 1064.
D. One red indicator disc (bottle thermal discharge) and one yellow indicator disk (bottle discharge) are on the lower right side of the body at station 1064.

A. Do these steps to remove the red disk.

Remove the snap ring.
S 024-003
(2)
Use a suction cup or small pointed tool to remove the red disk.
B. Do these steps to install the red disk.

(1)
Put a new red disk in the receptacle.
S 434-005
(2)
Push the snap ring in position.

Remove the snap ring.
(2)

CARGO COMPARTMENT FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

1. General_______
A. The cargo compartment fire extinguishing system is used to control or extinguish fires that occur in the forward or aft cargo compartments. The system uses halon as the extinguishant. The system includes these parts:
(1)
Fire Extinguishing Bottle, which has squibs and a pressure indication switch
(2)
Tubing, to distribute the halon to the applicable area
(3)
Nozzles, to release the halon efficiently
