PREREQUISITES MAKE SURE THE AIRPLANE IS IN THIS CONFIGURATION: ELECTRICAL POWER IS ON (AMM 24-22-00/201)EQUIPMENT:

WIRE END FITTING 35303-11, FENWAL INCORP., ASHLAND, MA
CAUTION: FOR SENSING ELEMENTS IN THE STRUT AREAS OR THE WING LEADING EDGE; DO NOT USE A MULTIMETER ON THE SENSOR ELEMENTS IF THE ELEMENT'S TEMPERATURE IS ABOVE 210`F (99`C). IF THE TEMPERATURE IS BELOW 210`F (99`C) BUT ABOVE 70`F (21`C), LIMIT METER USE TO 5 SECOND APPLICATIONS WITH NO MORE THAN TWO APPLICATIONS PER MINUTE. IF THE TEMPERATURE IS BELOW 70`F (21`C), THE METER MAY BE USED WITHOUT RESTRICTION. IF THESE REQUIREMENTS ARE NOT FOLLOWED, DAMAGE TO THE SENSOR ELEMENT MAY OCCUR.

DOES THE RIGHT WING BODY
OVERHEAT LIGHT, L33, COME ON?
YES
SEE SHEET 3 (BLOCK 2)

21 PUSH THE RIGHT WING BODY
OVERHEAT LIGHT, L33, TO MAKE
SURE THE BULB OPERATES.
DOES THE L33 LIGHT COME ON?
YES
NO
22 REMOVE THE COMPARTMENT
OVERHEAT CONTROL UNIT FROM THE E3-2 SHELF IN THE E/E BAY.
MEASURE AND RECORD THE RESISTANCE BETWEEN PINS 10AND 11 OF THE D742 CONNECTOR.
SEE TABLE B FOR THE MAXI-MUM ACCEPTABLE RESISTANCE.
DOES THE RESISTANCE EXCEED THE MAXIMUM?
YES
NO
23 DISCONNECT AND CLEAN THE
CONNECTORS IN THE RIGHT STRUT
AND WING LEADING EDGE LOOP.
SEE FIG. 105 FOR PROPER CON-
NECTOR ASSEMBLY.
PUSH THE TEST SWITCH, S1, ON THE P5-10 PANEL.
DOES THE RIGHT WING BODY OVERHEAD LIGHT, L33, COME ON?
YES
44 THE SYSTEM IS OK.
42 REPLACE THE COMPARTMENT
OVERHEAT CONTROL UNIT, M237
