A. Installation of the DMC
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors (1).
(4)
Make sure that the electrical connectors (1) are in the correct condition.
(5)
Install the DMC (5) on its rack (2).
(6)
Push the DMC (5) on its rack (2) to connect the electrical connectors (1).
(7)
Engage the nuts (3) on the lugs (4) and tighten.

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): FOR 1WT1 10WT1, 21WT1 FOR 1WT2 10WT2, 21WT2 FOR 1WT3 10WT3, 21WT3

Make sure that the DMC - EIS SOFTWARE P/N shown on the LRU IDENTIFICATION page is the same as the computer P/N (given on the front face of the disks located in the disk stowage box). Make sure that the DMC - EIS SOFTWARE P/N shown on the LRU IDENTIFICATION page is the same as the other EIS components SOFTWARE P/N (the PFD CAPT, the ND CAPT, the EWD, the SD, the ND F/O, the PFD F/O, the other DMC's)
