C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Do the EIS start procedure (PFDs and NDs only) (Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(2)
On the overhead panel: on the ADIRS CDU, on the panel 20VU, make sure that the OFF/NAV/ATT selector switches for ADIRU1 and ADIRU2 are at NAV.
(3)
On the center pedestal, on the SWITCHING panel 8VU, check that the ATT HDG selector switch is in NORM position.

A. Check of the ATT HDG switch

1. On the ADIRS CDU:
-
set the OFF/NAV/ATT selector On the CAPT PFD, check that the pitch
switch for the IR1 to OFF and roll attitudes and the heading indications go out of view. The ATT flag comes into view. Ignore the related warnings.

set the OFF/NAV/ATT selector On the F/O PFD, check that the pitch
switch for the IR2 to OFF and roll attitudes and the heading indications go out of view. The ATT flag comes into view. Ignore the related warnings.

B. Deactivation of the ATT HDG selector switch
(1) Make a mark on the panel 8VU close to the ATT HDG selector switch to forbid the crew to set the ATT HDG selector switch in any position except NORM which is the valid position.
