 (i) TIME marker or EQUITIME point This symbol predicts the location of the A/C along the active flight plan at the entered time, or it perdicts the equitime point location between two airport references. This symbol is green.

 (5) Optional Navaids
 (a) General
R  (Ref. Fig. 021) In addition, each pilot may select additional information which are called option: waypoints or navaids or airports which are in the zone presented on the ND, but which are not included in the flight plan, or constraint for given points.
Each option is selected by pressing the associated pushbutton switch on the FCU-EFIS control section. These options are exclusive, and the priority is given to the last one which has been selected.
The five P/B switches dedicated to the options are:
 (b)
ARPT For airports, presented with a star symbol (in magenta color).

 (c)
NDB For NDB navigation stations (triangle symbol in magenta).

 (d)
VOR-D For VOR-D navigation stations: symbol, cross for VOR, circle plus cross for VOR-DME, and circle for DME alone (in magenta color).

 (e)
WPT For waypoints not included in the flight plan symbol lozenge (in magenta color).

 (f)
CSTR When the pilot presses the CSTR pushbutton switch on the FCU, the ND displays in magenta color the altitude, speed, time , possible constraints at waypoints of the flight plan. The altitude constraints may be MCA (minimum crossing altitude) at given fixes, or constrained altitudes at fixes in terminal areas and along final trajectory, or minimum holding altitudes. All the above constraints are written just below the concerned waypoint identification (maximum of 3 lines of 6 characters each). For example: TOI -6000 180 Kt.

 (g) Track and distance In PLAN mode, the track and distance from the MAP reference point to the following FLIGHT PLAN waypoint are displayed below the MAP reference point identification. As soon as CSTR option is selected on the FCU, the track and distance information is replaced by the constraint data.

The ND displays a static map orientated with respect to the true North. The displayed map information is the same as in ARC or ROSE-NAV mode but the map is centered on a map reference point. This point is chosen by the pilot on his MCDU and can be:
-either the active waypoint - or any other selected waypoint of the flight plan. The scale of the map is that chosen by means of the range selector (the range value selected corresponding to the diameter of the outer circle). The GS, TAS and wind data, and the active waypoint data are displayed like in the other modes; but no navigation station characteristics and associated bearing pointers are available in this mode. The A/C position on the map is represented by a true track-orientated yellow A/C symbol (item b).
