-go around displayed GA
-flexible take off displayed FLX
-maximum continuous displayed MCT
-climb displayed CL.
These modes are selected according to the throttle control lever position
(the position which is the most advanced is taken into account).
Detents (mechanical notches) are associated to the mode selection.
In flexible take off mode, the value of the flexible TAT take off
temperature, which is entered by the crew through the MCDUs, is displayed
in cyan color next to the N1 LIM value.
The indication shows for instance:
FLX 84.6 % 35 deg.C.

E. N1 MAX The N1 MAX value is displayed in analog form by means of a thick amber mark across the N1 scale. N1 MAX is the N1 LIMIT value corresponding to the full forward position of the throttle control lever.
F. N1 REFERENCE (N1 throttle) The N1 reference symbol (small white circle) represents the N1 predictive value for each engine, in manual mode (the N1 value that would be reached or will be reached in manual control after stabilization, depending on the throttle control lever position).

G. N1 COMMAND The N1 CMD is displayed in analog form by means of a cyan arc of a circle joining the N1 actual needle to the N1 CMD value. Therefore, when the N1 speed is stabilized, this symbol is reduced to a mark which is covered by the N1 actual needle. The N1 CMD is displayed only with the A/THR engaged.

G. N1 COMMAND The N1 CMD is displayed in analog form by means of four green arcs of circle joining the N1 actual needle to the N1 command needle. The N1 CMD is displayed only with the A/THR engaged, and the N1 CMD value valid, and engine running.

H. N1 Trend In addition a green triangle next to the N1 CMD value enhences the N1 direction and stays displayed even when the two values are very close; it disappears when the N1 value has reached the N1 CMD value. It is displayed only if engine is running.
J. N1 dgraded data In case of failure of the normal N1 measurement system from the FWC, the ECU computes a theoretical value taking into account the other engine parameters. In this case the last digit of N1 is dashed with two horizontal amber lines. (Ref. Fig. 008)

K. N2 INDICATION The N2 indications are displayed in the digital form only. 100% N2 correspond to 14460 RPM . Should N2 actual exceeds the N2 red line value , a red cross appears next to the digital indication to warn the pilot that an N2 exceeding has occurred. This red cross disappears only after a new take off or after a maintenance action through the MCDU . Like the N1, the N2 exceeding values are stored in the BITE memory and available on the MCDU through a maintenance menu.

L. EGT INDICATION The EGT indications are provided in the same form as for the N1 indications. The same applies concerning the changes in color and the EGT exceeding indications. However it has to be noticed that the amber line (EGT MAX) is variable; one value at engine start and another after (see values in paragraph ENGX parameters definition. In addition, at take off, the amber EGT limit is cancelled and the change in color of the needle is inhibited in the following cases:
