A. APU Generator operation

The main parameters of the generator operation are described in this rectangle.
(1) Case 1 In this case the generator is not in standby and is not off.

Item A The title APU GEN is normally displayed in white. It is displayed in amber: when the generator load below is amber, when the voltage is amber, when the frequency is amber.

Item B Generator load The generator load is normally displayed in green. It is displayed in amber when there is a generator overload as transmitted by the SDAC. It is replaced by amber XX when the value is not available from the SDAC.

Item C Generator voltage The generator voltage is normally displayed in green. It is displayed in amber when the value is outside the range 110V/120V as transmitted by the SDAC. It is replaced by amber XX when the value is not available from the SDAC.

-Item D Generator frequency The generator voltage is normally displayed in green. It is displayed in amber when the value is outside the range 390Hz/410Hz as transmitted by the SDAC. It is replaced by amber XX when the value is not available from the SDAC.

Case 2 In this case the generator is off. The APU GEN P/B is off and the generator is not in the standby mode. The title APU GEN is amber and the OFF indication is white.

Case 3
In this case the generator is in the standby mode.
The APU GEN is in the standby mode when the APU/MASTER SW P/BSW is in OFF configuration (information from the SDAC) and the APU is not available (information from the Electronic Control Box (ECB) via the SDAC).
The title APU GEN is white.
B. APU GEN line contactor
(item 2)
The triangle is green when the APU GEN line contactor is closed as transmitted by the SDAC. It is not displayed in all other cases.
C. APU available (Item 3) The green AVAIL message computed by the APU Electronic Control Box (ECB) is displayed
**ON A/C 001-049, 051-099, 101-105, 151-199, 201-299, 301-302,
when the APU speed N (% RPM) is above 95%.
R **ON A/C 106-149, 303-399, 401-499,
when the APU is considered available by the ECB, and transmitted as such to the DMC: APU AVAIL signal set to true.

Then, the APU is able to provide bleed air and/or electrical power. Nothing is displayed in the other cases (or when the status of the APU is not transmitted to the DMC).
