A. ADIRU R (Ref. Fig. 074)

IRS DMC1 receives the ADIRU 1 and 3 IRS buses. DMC2 receives the ADIRU 2 and 3 IRS buses. Normally, the DMC1 uses the data from ADIRU1 IRS. In case of failure of the ADIRU1 , the CAPT can switch normally to the ADIRU3 IRS by setting the ATT/HDG selector switch to CAPT/3. The same applies for DMC2 normally using data from ADIRU IRS2, or from ADIRU IRS3 by setting the ATT/HDG selector switch to F/O/3.

ADC The ADIRU ADC bus selection inside the DMC follows exactly the same rules as the IRS bus selection. However the IRS and ADC manual reconfiguration selections are completely independent.
