Provided that the pitch angle, roll angle and magnetic heading information is valid, magnetic heading graduations are constantly displayed just under the horizon line every 10 degrees of heading. For high attitude values, when the horizon line disappears behind the upper sector or the lower one, the magnetic heading graduations remain in view. They are displayed below the sector line.

In case of detected failure of the ADIRU (IRS) concerning the pitch and/or roll angle information, the whole attitude and guidance display is replaced by the ATT red flag (flashing for 9 s then steady). This ATT red flag disappears when the PFD is supplied again with healthy pitch and roll data, from another source or from the same source.
(8) Lateral acceleration A yellow trapezoidal index below the roll angle will represent the A/C lateral acceleration on the ground. It will be driven by the side slip information above 30 ft radio-altitude if this information is available.

Vector, they give the orders in flight path and in track. The guidance orders are presented on a given PFD provided that the FD pushbutton switch light on the respective EFIS control section of the FCU is on, the on condition corresponds to the FD ON selection (Ref. Fig. 016) item (b). Moreover, at least one FD must be engaged. Provided that there is a value displayed in the FCU HDG/TRK counter and the FD is off, a cyan vertical bar on the horizon line indicates the selected heading or track.
