When the mach number is above 0.5 it is displayed just below the speed scale in green color. In case of failure, a red MACH flag is presented.

(7) Limit Speeds The following flight envelope protection speeds are displayed through the appropriate symbols according to the flight phase and the A/C configuration. They are all computed by the FAC:
-Vsw (Stall Warning Speed),
-Vls (Minimum Selectable Speed)
-Vmax (Vfe or Vle or Vmo)
-Valim
-Vaprot
-Vprot
-Vman (Optimum Manoeuver Speed),
-V3 (Minimum Flap Retraction Speed),
-V4 (Minimum Slat Retraction Speed),
-Vfe next (Vfe corresponding to the next flap handle detent). The corresponding symbols are presented only in analog form, and provided that the corresponding Vc values are within the displayed portion of the Vc scale. Except where specified, the limit speeds are displayed only 10 s after main landing gear is unloading. The FAC manages all the logic conditions for display or non display (NCD) of the relevant symbols.

item (a). The Stall Warning Indication is represented by means of a red and black stripe, the top of which indicates the Vsw value. Vsw = k.Vs is a stall speed which depends on the A/C configuration. Vsw is displayed only 5 s after A/C lift-off and provided that the speed protections (normally given by the flight controls) are lost. In this case, Vsw replaces both Valim and Vaprot indications.
