 NOTE : As an option (A/THR programming pin of FMGC, label 270 bit
____ 15), in zone E2 of FMA, identification of the flight director used by the pilot must also indicate FD selection of the opposite side, as follows: XFDY where X = CAPT side selection and Y = F/O side selection. X or Y = 1, 2 or - depending on whether FD1, FD2 or no FD is selected. As soon as an FD is engaged on one side, corresponding FMA display is shown on both CAPT and F/O PFDs even if the FD has not been selected on the opposite side.
 The table below gives the conditions of display of the FMA messages:
