Display (D)
This is the INITIAL CONDITIONS to test the lamps of the DUs of the
F/O side (the 3L key has been pressed). An action is necessary on the
EIS DMC Selector switch before the operator presses the 5L key ACCESS
TEST.
Display (E)
Pressing the key 5L leads to this page where all the available DUs
for one DMC can be selected: the symbol "<" is shown in front of the
DUs to be selected.
Display (F)
If the operaror presses the key in front of a DU which is not
available, he gets the page (F) with the message STATUS NOT POSSIBLE
FROM DMCX in green.
Display (G)
If the operaror presses the key in front of a faulty DU, he gets the
page (G) with the message STATUS NOT AVAILABLE (PFD CAPT
UNCERVICEABLE)

Display (H)
If the operaror presses the key in front of a DU which is t available, he gets the page (H) with the message TEST IN PROGRESS XS in green.
Display (J)
This page appears automatically afer a while showing the status of each lamp of the DU. The lamps in good working condition are mentionned with a green OK, while the faulty ones are mentionned with FAIL in amber. Another page is necessary to display the status of the 20 lamps. The operator presses the down arrow key to get the second page.
Display (K)
This is the second page of the DU BACKLIGHT STATUS. The operator can check that the faulty lamps are not too numerous, or displatch the DU to the chop for repair.
Display (L)
The operator presses the 6L key RETURN to get back to the main DMC menu, except in the case of DMC3, where a CLOSE UP condition is necessary beforehand. The operator obey this last instruction and presses the 6L key RETURN.

(16) LCD Status function This function allows to check the quality of the matrix of the screen of the DU. Special patterns are drawn on the screen of the DU, thus it is possible to check that:
-an horizontal line of the matrix is not permanently white, or permanently black;
-a vertical line of the matrix is not permanently white, or permanently black;
-an area of the screen is not permanently white, or permanently black;
-the permanently white or permanently black spots, scattered on the
screen are not too numerous. To this end, the operator presses the 5L key of the menu PIN PROG/STATUS AND XLOAD. Display (A) This is the first page of the function LCD STATUS with a choice of patterns to be selected.

Display (B)
