is indicated by an amber tape a little bit thinner than the Vsw
tape.
The top of the Vls tape indicates the Vls value on the speed
scale.
The Vls value is computed and then sent by the FAC.
The Vls value is equal to:
-1.2 Vs in take-off phase,
-1.3 Vs in the other phases,
-the speed value providing a 0.2 g margin with respect to the buffeting at high altitude (Z > 20000 ft.).

The Vmax is indicated by means of a red/black stripe starting
from the top of the speed scale and ending at the Vmax value on
the Vc scale.
Vmax represents:
-either Vmo (360 kts) or the speed corresponding to Mmo (.84) when that speed is lower than Vmo
- or the maximum speed corresponding to the A/C configuration when the slats/flaps and/or the landing gear are extended: Vfe for slats/flaps extended and/or Vle for the landing gear extended.
Vmax is the minimum value out of the above values.
