 In case of no reception of the beacon (bearing in NCD) the corresponding pointer is removed.

 In ARC mode, when neither the head nor the tail of the pointer is in the displayed heading sector, the pointer and the reminder symbol are removed as well. When a NAV receiver failure occurs the corresponding pointer and the reminder symbol disappear.
