(6) GPS PRIMARY function When GPS C1 option is fitted, the V/DEV scale and the index are displayed as soon as, either the FM approach phase from the FMS sequence has started or the A/C is in the FM approach area. The V/DEV scale remains displayed until the Missed Approach Point of the sequence is reached, or basically the CLIMB phase is activated.
The V/DEV index disappears when the Minimum Descent Altitude is reached.
