SUBTASK 27-51-15-420-001
(1) If it is not installed, install the transmission attach fitting assembly [2]:
(a) Put the transmission attach fitting assembly [2] in its position on the flap track assembly [1].
(b) Install the bolt [20], washer [21] and nut [22] that attach the aft end of the transmission
attach fitting assembly [2] to the flap track assembly [1].
(c) Install the pin [23] in the nut [22].
(d) Install the bolt [19], washer [26] and nut [25] that attach the forward end of the transmission
attach fitting assembly [2] to the flap track assembly [1].
(e) Install the pin [25] in the nut [24].

(2) If you will use the adapter, SPL-1733, install it on the flap track assembly [1]:
(a) Install the adapter, SPL-1733 on the flap track assembly [1] approximately 35 inches (89 cm)
aft of the track attach fitting.
(b) Put a low profile hydraulic jack, COM-1568 below the adapter, SPL-1733 to support the flap
track assembly [1].
SUBTASK 27-51-15-420-002
(3) Install the flap track assembly [1]:
(a) If it is not installed, install the shim [5] on the structure:
NOTE: Make sure the shim [5] is the same thickness as the shim [5] that you removed.
1) Apply sealant, A00247 to the mating surface of the shim [5] and the structure.
2) Put the shim [5] in its location
(b) Attach the aft end of the flap track assembly [1]:
1) Lift the flap track assembly [1] to its location on the structure.
