(f) Do a check of the position sensor inputs to the FSEU:
1) Select OTHER FUNCTNS? from the MAIN MENU on the FSEU.
2) Select I/O MONITOR? from the OTHER FUNCTNS? menu.
3) Select SYNCHRO INPUTS? from the I/O MONITOR? menu.
4) Make sure the inputs for the sensors are in the limits shown in (Table 503) for the UP
position.
NOTE: Push the arrow keys to step through the sensor values.

(9) Do a test of the DOWN limit switch:
(a) Move the ALTERNATE FLAPS ARM switch to the OFF position.
(b) Move the flap control lever to the 30-unit position to extend the flaps.
(c) Make sure the pointers on the flap position indicator are in the 30-unit white band.
(d) Move the ALTERNATE FLAPS ARM switch to the ARM position.
(e) Move the flap control lever to the 40-unit position.
(f) Move and hold the ALTERNATE FLAPS CONTROL switch in the DOWN position until the
flaps stop.
(g) Do a check of the position sensor inputs to the FSEU:
1) Select OTHER FUNCTNS? from the MAIN MENU on the FSEU.
2) Select I/O MONITOR? from the OTHER FUNCTNS? menu.
3) Select SYNCHRO INPUTS? from the I/O MONITOR? menu.
4) Make sure the inputs for the sensors are in the limits shown in (Table 503) for the 40-
unit position.
NOTE: Push the arrow keys to step through the sensor values.
(h) Push the ON/OFF button on the front panel of the FSEU to turn it off.
(i) Move the ALTERNATE FLAPS ARM switch to the OFF position.

(10) Move the flap control lever to the UP position to retract the flaps.
