EQUIPMENT.
(8) Extend the flaps to the FLAPS 1 position, do this task: Extend the Trailing Edge Flaps,

(1) Move the stab trim switches on the control wheel to the NOSE UP position and hold.
NOTE: The same stab trim switches (captain’s or first officer’s) should be used during this
procedure.

WARNING: BE SURE NOT TO TOUCH ADJACENT PINS IN CONNECTOR D700 DURING VOLTAGE
CHECKS. THE 115 VAC IN THE CONNECTOR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND

(2) Use a multimeter, STD-1231 to measure the voltage on connector D700 between pin 8 and the
surrounding structure.
(a) Make sure that the voltage on pin 8 is more than 2 VAC.
