INBOARD TRAILING EDGE FLAP - ADJUSTMENT/TEST
1. General
A. This procedure has an adjustment of the inboard trailing edge flap.
B. This procedure includes the adjustment of the main flap with the aft flap either removed or installed.
C. The adjustment instructions included in this procedure are included in the Rigging Diagram - Inbd
and Outbd Flaps, Wing Trailing Edge 113A3017.

F. Prepare For the Adjustment
SUBTASK 27-51-11-480-003
WARNING: MAKE SURE THE DOWNLOCK PINS ARE INSTALLED ON ALL THE LANDING GEAR.
WITHOUT THE DOWNLOCK PINS, THE LANDING GEAR CAN RETRACT AND CAUSE
INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) If the downlock pins are not installed in the nose and main landing gear, do this task: Landing
Gear Downlock Pins Installation, TASK 32-00-01-480-801.

(2) Do this task: Trailing Edge Flap System Deactivation, TASK 27-51-00-040-801.

(3) Do this task: Inboard Flap Support Aft Fairing Removal, TASK 27-51-18-000-802.

(4) Make sure the outboard flap [1] is adjusted correctly. To adjust the outboard flap [1], do this task:
Outboard Trailing Edge Flap Adjustment, TASK 27-51-21-820-801.
G. Inboard Trailing Edge Flap Adjustment
NOTE: There is no mismatch, or alignment dimension to the outboard flap, or to fixed structure that
the inboard flap is adjusted to meet. The eccentric carriage rollers can be changed from the
nominal position to meet lateral trim tolerances.
SUBTASK 27-51-11-860-005
(1) Do a check of the adjustment of the deflection control roller [12] on the outboard end of the
inboard flap [1] (Figure 501):
(a) Manually extend and retract the inboard flap [1] through its full travel. To extend and retract
