STABILIZER TRIM CUTOUT SWITCHES - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. General
A. This procedure has these tasks:
(1) A removal of a stabilizer trim cutout switch
(2) An installation of a stabilizer trim cutout switch.
B. The stabilizer trim cutout switch is referred to as the "cutout switch" in this procedure.
C. This procedure is applicable to the main cutout switch (S272) and autopilot cutout switch (S149).

2. Stabilizer Trim Cutout Switch Removal

C. Cutout Switch Removal

(1) Loosen the screws [6] and pull the panel out from the control stand.

(2) Disconnect the electrical terminal [7] from the back of the cutout switch [1].
SUBTASK 27-41-91-020-002
(3) Remove the cutout switch [1] from the panel:
(a) Remove the locknuts [2], lockwasher [5], switch guard [4], and locking ring [3] from the
cutout switch [1].
(b) Remove the cutout switch [1] from the back side of the panel.

SUBTASK 27-41-91-420-001
(1) Install the cutout switch [1] on the panel:
(a) Install the cutout switch [1] on the back side of the panel.
(b) Install the locknuts [2], locking ring [3], switch guard [4], and lockwasher [5].
NOTE: The cutout switch [1], locking ring [3], and switch guard [4] are all keyed for
correct installation.

(2) Connect the electrical terminal [7] to the back of the cutout switch [1].

(3) Install the panel on the control stand:
(a) Put the panel in its position on the control stand.
(b) Tighten the screws [6].

(4) Remove the safety tags and close these circuit breakers:
