SUBTASK 27-51-13-010-001
(1) Remove the upper skin panel [3] from the main flap [1]:
(a) Remove the bolts [4] that attach the upper skin panel [3] to the main flap [1].
(b) Remove the upper skin panel [3].
SUBTASK 27-51-13-020-002
(2) Remove the carriage assembly [2] from the main flap [1]:
(a) Remove the nuts [15], washers [14], washers [13], bolts [12] and bolts [16] that attach the aft
end of the carriage assembly [2].
(b) Remove the nuts [11], washers [10] and bolts [9] from the forward end of the carriage
assembly [2].
(c) Remove the nuts [8], washers [7], bolts [5] and fillers [6] from the forward end of the
carriage assembly [2].

SUBTASK 27-51-13-420-001
(1) Install the carriage assembly [2] on the main flap [1]:
(a) Make sure the upper panel [3] is removed from the main flap [1].
(b) Apply sealant, A00247 to the mating surface of the carriage assembly [2] and the main flap
[1].
(c) Put the carriage assembly [2] in its position on the main flap [1].
(d) Apply sealant, A00247 to the mating surface of the fillers [6] and the main flap [1].
(e) Put the fillers [6] in their location on the main flap [1].
(f) Apply sealant, A00247 to the shank and threads of the bolts [5], bolts [9], bolts [12] and bolts
[16].
(g) Install the bolts [5], washers [7] and nuts [8] to attach the forward end of the carriage
assembly [2] to the main flap [1].
