7) If you find any problems listed above, replace the stabilizer jackscrew actuator:
(Stabilizer Ball Nut and Jackscrew Gearbox Removal, TASK 27-41-81-000-801)
(Stabilizer Ball Nut and Jackscrew Gearbox Installation, TASK 27-41-81-400-801).
8) For any grease removed from the Jackscrew prior to examining the threads for
damage, corrosion, and contamination, do the Stabilizer Trim Jackscrew Lubrication
step in: (Stabilizer Jackscrew, Ballnut and Gimbal - Lubrication,
TASK 12-22-41-600-801).

(1) Open this access panel:

(2) Move the stabilizer to 8.5 units of trim.

(5) Install equipment, SPL-1752 and dial indicator, STD-1238 on the jackscrew.
(a) Install the plate assembly of equipment, SPL-1752 on the jackscrew fitting with four screws.

(b) Install the left and right bulkhead plate assembly of equipment, SPL-1752 to the bulkhead
stiffeners with four screws.
(c) Install the C-channel assembly of equipment, SPL-1752 to the left and right bulk head plate
assembly of equipment, SPL-1752 with two pins.
NOTE: The flat side of the C-channel assembly of equipment, SPL-1752 should point
forward.
(d) Hold the upper end of the jackscrew with both hands and turn clockwise and counterclockwise
to ensure the brake ratchet pawls are engaged.
NOTE: This will lock the jackscrew in place so that the jackscrew will not turn when the
load is applied.
(e) Install the hand hydraulic pump, STD-1253 to the clevis on the plate assembly of equipment,
