2) Install the bolt [7], washer [6], washer [4] and nut [3] that attach the inboard end of the
flap track assembly [1].
3) Install the bolt [8], washer [9], washer [10] and nut [11] that attach the outboard end of
the flap track assembly [1].
(c) Attach the forward end of the flap track assembly [1]:
1) Apply grease, D00633 to the outside of the fuse pin [15] and the inside of the bushings.
2) Install the fuse pin [15] to attach the forward end of the flap track assembly [1] to the
track attach fitting.

(d) Tighten the nut [3] to 1000-1470 pound-inches (113-166 newton-meters).
(e) Tighten the nut [11] to 630-1070 pound-inches (71.2-120.8 newton-meters).
(f) Make sure you can turn the fuse pin [15] in the joint with a maximum of 10 pound-inches
torque.
NOTE: You can push up on the forward end of the flap track assembly [1] to take the
weight off the fuse pin [15] when you measure the torque.
(g) Install the washer [16] and nut [17] on the fuse pin [15].
(h) Tighten the nut [17] to 330-350 pound-inches.
(i) Loosen the nut [17] to align the hole for the pin [18].
(j) Install the pin [18] in the nut [17].

(4) Install the failsafe fitting assembly [14] on the track attach fitting:
(a) Put the failsafe fitting assembly [14] in its location on the track attach fitting.
(b) Install the bolts [13] and washers [12] to attach the failsafe fitting assembly [14].

(5) If it is necessary, remove the adapter, SPL-1733 from the flap track assembly [1].
