E. Flap Priority Valve Removal
SUBTASK 27-51-04-020-001
(1) Remove the flap priority valve [1]:
(a) Disconnect the hydraulic lines [2], [6] and [7] from the valve [1]:
1) Put a 5 gallon (19 liters) fuel resistant container, STD-1054 below the valve [1] to hold
hydraulic fluid.
2) Disconnect the hydraulic lines [2], [6] and [7] from the valve [1].
3) Install plugs in the hydraulic lines [2], [6] and [7].
(b) Remove the nuts [11] and washers [12] and remove the valve [1] from the bracket [10].

SUBTASK 27-51-04-420-001
(1) If you will install a new valve [1], install the union [5], union [8] and reducer [3] and packings [4]
and packing [9] from the valve [1]:
(a) Apply MCS 352B fluid, D00054 or fluid, D00153 to the new packings [4] and packing [9].
(b) Put the packings [4] and packing [9] and the union [5], union [8] and reducer [3] in the
valve [1].
SUBTASK 27-51-04-420-002
(2) Install the flap priority valve [1]:
(a) Apply compound, C00913 to the shank and threads of the bolts on the bracket [10].
(b) Put the valve [1] in its location on the bracket [10].
(c) Install the nuts [11] and washers [12] to hold the valve [1].
(d) Remove the plugs from the hydraulic lines [2], [6] and [7].
(e) Connect the hydraulic lines [2], [6] and [7] to the valve [1].
