(b) Push the cable [1] through the bearing retainer [12].
(c) Tighten the cable retaining nut [13].
1) Tighten the cable retaining nut [13] finger tight plus one quarter turn.
(d) Install the lockwire, G01048 on the retaining nut [13].
NOTE: To get the best lockwire angle, make sure that the aft cable assembly can turn
easily and smoothly.

(4) Do these steps to install the crank lever [10]:
(a) Install the spacer [11] on the cable [1].
(b) Install the crank lever [10], washer [9], and nut [8].

(6) Close the main instrument panel module shroud.

(7) Turn the crank lever to move the rudder pedals fully forward and then aft.

RUDDER FORWARD QUADRANT - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. General
A. This procedure has these tasks:
(1) A removal of a rudder forward quadrant
(2) An installation of the a rudder forward quadrant.
B. The rudder forward quadrant includes the quadrant and jackshaft.
C. This procedure is applicable for the captain’s and first officer’s rudder forward quadrants.
