F. Aileron Power Control Unit Installation
SUBTASK 27-11-71-420-001
(1) If they are not installed, install the union [3], union [5], new packing [2] and new packing [6]:
(a) Apply fluid, D00153 to the new packing [2] and new packing [6].
(b) Install the union [3], new packing [2] and union [5], new packing [6] in the ports on the
power control unit assembly [1].
SUBTASK 27-11-71-860-002
(2) Make sure the power control unit assembly [1] is filled with fluid, D00153.
SUBTASK 27-11-71-820-002
(3) Remove the 1 U.S.-gal (3.81 l) oil resistant container, STD-203.
SUBTASK 27-11-71-420-002
(4) Install the power control unit assembly [1]:
(a) Put the power control unit assembly [1] in its position.
(b) Install the bolt [34], washer [35], washer [39] and nut [38] to connect the power control unit
assembly [1] to the output lever assembly [36].
NOTE: Tighten the nut [38] to the lower end of the torque range. Continue to tighten the
nut until the next castellation aligns with the hole in the bolt [34].
