(5) Use the bar, SPL-1677 to set the "B" dimension at 4 units of trim (39.89 +/- 0.01 inches or 1013.2
+/- 0.3 mm) (Figure 502).
G. Input Rod of the Elevator Feel Computer Adjustment
SUBTASK 27-31-00-410-006
(1) Make sure you can install the rig pin E-4 from the rig pin kit, SPL-1585 in the rig pin holes in the
input arm [122] and elevator feel computer [127].
SUBTASK 27-31-00-820-010
(2) If you can not install the rig pin E-4 easily, adjust the input rod [121] of the elevator feel computer
[127] (Figure 513):
(a) Remove the nut [125], washer [124], and bolt [123] to disconnect the input rod [121] from the
input arm [122].
(b) Install the rig pin E-4 in the rig pin holes in the input arm [122] and elevator feel computer
[127].
(c) Loosen the checknut [126].
(d) Adjust the input rod [121] until you can install the bolt [123] easily through the input arm
[122] and input rod [121].
(e) Install the washer [124] and nut [125].
(f) Tighten the checknut [126].
(g) Remove the rig pin E-4.
H. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition
