RUDDER TRIM ACTUATOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. General
A. This procedure has these tasks:
(1) A removal of the rudder trim actuator
(2) An installation of the rudder trim actuator.

(1) Open these circuit breakers and install safety tags:

E. Rudder Trim Actuator Removal
SUBTASK 27-21-87-020-001
(1) Remove the rudder trim actuator [1]:
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector [9] from the rudder trim actuator [1].
(b) Remove the nut [4], washer [5], nut [6], washer [7], and bolt assembly [3] to disconnect the
rudder feel and centering unit [2] from the rudder trim actuator [1].

(c) Remove the nut [10], washer [11], nut [12], washer [13], bushing [14], and bolt [8] that attach
the rudder trim actuator [1] to the airplane structure.
(d) Remove the rudder trim actuator [1] from the airplane.
