STANDBY RUDDER POWER CONTROL UNIT SHUTOFF VALVE - MAINTENANCE PRACTICES
1. General
A. This procedure has these tasks:
(1) A removal of the rudder valve motor from the standby rudder power control unit (PCU) shutoff
valve
(2) An installation of the rudder valve motor to the standby rudder PCU shutoff valve
(3) A removal of the standby rudder power control unit (PCU) shutoff valve
(4) An installation of the standby rudder PCU shutoff valve
(5) An installation test of the standby rudder PCU shutoff valve.
B. The standby rudder PCU shutoff valve is referred to as the "shutoff valve" in this procedure.
C. You do not have to remove the shutoff valve from the modular package assembly to remove the
rudder valve motor.
