F. Aileron Control Wheel Drum Installation
SUBTASK 27-11-51-210-001
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT IT IS THE SELF-LOCKING SHEAR NUT AND NOT THE TENSION
TYPE SELF-LOCKING NUT THAT CONNECTS THE FORK TO THE CONTROL WHEEL
DRUM. IF AN INCORRECT NUT IS INSTALLED, THE CAPTAIN’S CONTROL COLUMN
CAN BECOME DISENGAGED FROM THE FORK, THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO
PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Make sure the fork is connected to the control wheel drum with correct self-locking shear nut.
NOTE: You must see a completed bolt chamfer at the end of the nut.
