SUBTASK 27-31-00-080-002
(1) Remove the flight controls hydraulic module locks from the flight controls shutoff valves.
(a) Remove the lockpins.
(b) Remove the lock, SPL-1675 or lock, SPL-1676 from the two flight controls shutoff valves.
(c) Put the manual override lever at the two flight controls shutoff valves in the position 1 (ON
position).
(d) Connect the electrical connector to the flight controls shutoff valve at the flight controls
hydraulic modules A and B.

(2) Set the FLT CONTROL A and B switches on the forward overhead panel to the ON position.

(3) Make sure that the VHF NAV and IRS switches, on the P5 forward overhead panel, are in the
NORMAL positions.

(4) Set the left and right IRS select switches, on the P5 aft overhead panel, to the ALIGN or NAV
position.

WARNING: KEEP PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT AWAY FROM THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES.
THE AILERONS, ELEVATORS, RUDDER, FLAPS, SLATS, SPOILERS, STABILIZER AND
NOSE GEAR CAN MOVE SUDDENLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS
CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(5) Supply hydraulic power to hydraulic systems A and B. To supply hydraulic power, do this task:
