(1) Put the captain’s and first officer’s control wheels in the neutral position.

WARNING: MAKE SURE THE DOWNLOCK PINS ARE INSTALLED ON ALL THE LANDING GEAR.
WITHOUT THE DOWNLOCK PINS, THE LANDING GEAR COULD RETRACT AND CAUSE
INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) Do this task: Remove Pressure from the Aileron Hydraulic Systems A and B,
TASK 27-11-00-860-801.

(3) Install the rig pin A/S-15, from the rig pin kit, SPL-1585, in the aileron trim mechanism.
E. Aileron Trim Actuator Removal

(1) Disconnect the electrical connector from the aileron trim actuator [1].

(2) Remove the aileron trim actuator [1] from the aileron trim mechanism:

(a) Remove the nut [11], bushing [10], washer [9], washer [8], and bolt [7].
(b) Remove the nut [2], bushing [3], washer [4], washer [5], and bolt [6].
(c) Remove the aileron trim actuator [1].

F. Aileron Trim Actuator Installation
SUBTASK 27-11-54-420-001
(1) Install the aileron trim actuator [1]:
(a) Make sure that the rig pin A/S-15, from the rig pin kit, SPL-1585, is installed in the aileron
trim mechanism.
(b) Put the aileron trim actuator [1] in position.
(c) Install the bolt [6], bushing [3], washer [5], washer [4], and nut [2].
(d) Install the bolt [7], bushing [10], washer [8], washer [9], and nut [11].

(2) Do the following steps to connect the electrical connector:
(a) Before you connect the electrical connector, examine the connector for corrosion.
