4) Push again on the adapter, SPL-1681 until the captain’s left rudder pedal is
3.60 ±0.10 in. (91.4 ±2.6 mm) forward from the neutral position.
5) Multiply the compression gage value on the adapter, SPL-1681 by a multiplication
factor given in (Table 502).
NOTE: The angle from the horizontal value is also shown on the adapter, SPL-1681.
6) Make sure the pedal force is between 60.0 lbf (266.9 N) to 82.0 lbf (364.8 N).
7) Remove the adapter, SPL-1681 from the captain’s left pedal.
(d) Install adapter, SPL-1681 on the captain’s right rudder pedal.
1) Push on the adapter, SPL-1681 until the rudder starts to move.
2) Multiply the compression gage value on the adapter, SPL-1681 by a multiplication
