(1) Set the ELEC 2, HYD PUMPS A and the ELEC 1, HYD PUMPS B switches on the forward
overhead panel to the OFF position.

(2) Set the FLT CONTROL A and B switches on the forward overhead panel to the OFF position.

(1) Set the FLT CONTROL A and B switches on the forward overhead panel to the OFF position.

(3) Set the ELEC 2, HYD PUMPS A and the ELEC 1, HYD PUMPS B switches on the forward
overhead panel to the OFF position.

(4) Operate the rudder pedals or the control column to decrease the remaining hydraulic system
pressure.

(5) If it is necessary to open a hydraulic line, you must release pressure from the reservoir for the
applicable hydraulic system. To release it, do this task: Hydraulic Reservoirs
Depressurization, TASK 29-11-01-860-802 or Hydraulic Reservoirs Depressurization,
TASK 29-09-00-860-802.

(6) Install the flight controls ground locks to the flight controls shutoff valves (Figure 202,
Figure 203):
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector from the flight controls shutoff valve at the flight
controls hydraulic modules A and B.
