(21) Feel Differential Pressure Light Test - Use this test to make sure the FEEL DIFF PRESS light
operates correctly.
(22) Pitot Probe Leak Test - Use this test to make sure there is no leakage at the pitot probes.
(23) Feel Force System Test - Use this test to make sure the elevator feel computer operates
correctly. The elevator feel computer changes the control columns forces as the airspeed
changes.
(24) Sensor Null Test - Use this test to make sure the elevator is in the correct rig position with DFCS
Computer BITE.
(25) Elevator PCU Input Rod (Pogo) Functional Test - Use this task to do a check of force required to
compress and extend each input rod (pogo) of the elevator power control unit (PCU).

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL CONTROL
SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS,
ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SPOILERS, SLATS, AND THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE
QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO
PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Do this task: Elevator Hydraulic System A and B - Pressurization, TASK 27-31-00-800-801.
SUBTASK 27-31-00-710-003
(2) Operate the control column with the systems A and B hydraulic power:
(a) Set the FLT CONTROL A and B switches on the forward overhead panel, P5, to the ON
position.
(b) Move the control column full aft.
1) Make sure that the elevators move full up and the system operates smoothly.
(c) Move the control column full forward.
1) Make sure that the elevators move full down and the system operates smoothly.

(3) Operate the control column with the system B hydraulic power:
(a) Set the FLT CONTROL A switch on the forward overhead panel, P5, to the OFF position.
(b) Move the control column full aft.
1) Make sure that the elevators move full up and the system operates smoothly.
(c) Move the control column full forward.
1) Make sure that the elevators move full down and the system operates smoothly.

(4) Operate the control column with the system A hydraulic power:
(a) Set the FLT CONTROL A switch on the forward overhead panel, P5, to the ON position.
(b) Set the FLT CONTROL B switch on the forward overhead panel, P5, to the OFF position.
(c) Move the control column full aft.
1) Make sure that the elevators move full up and the system operates smoothly.
(d) Move the control column full forward.
1) Make sure that the elevators move full down and the system operates smoothly.
