(2) Do the interface test for the right radio altimeter:
(a)
Open these circuit breakers:
1) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
a) 7B3 RADIO ALTM L
b) 7B4 RADIO ALTM C
(b)
Set the EIU switch on the captain's source select module to the L position. 1) Make sure the radio altitude shown on the captain's PFD
is -6 |2 feet.
(c)
Set the EIU switch on the captain's source select module to the C position. 1) Make sure the radio altitude shown on the captain's PFD
is -6 |2 feet.
(d)
Set the EIU switch on the captain's source select module to the R position. 1) Make sure the radio altitude shown on the captain's PFD
is -6 |2 feet.
(e)
Push the STAT button on the EICAS Display Panel.
1) Make sure you see RADIO ALT LEFT and RADIO ALT CENTER on the alternate EICAS display.

(e)

2) Make sure RADIO ALTM CENTER does not show on the alternate EICAS display.

(f) Set the test enable switch on the aft overhead maintenance panel (P461) to the ENABLE position.

4. BITE Test - Radio Altimeter Receiver-Transmitter________________________________________________
A. General
(1) This procedure does a test of each receiver-transmitter (R/T) and its antennas by use of the TEST button at the R/T. Operation of other navigation and control systems on the airplane is not necessary.
