(5) S 434-027Remove the covers from the air ducts on the R/T mount.
(6) S 434-028Remove the cover from the waveguide switch.
(7) S 434-029Remove the cover from the electrical connector sections and waveguide section on connector DB138.
(8) S 434-030Remove the cover from the electrical connector sections and waveguide section on connector DB140.
(9) S 434-031Remove the dust cap from waveguide section 5.

(10) Install the R/T mount:
NOTE: Replace the waveguide gaskets when they are defective.

Install the eight screws, washers and nuts which attach the R/T mount to the E30-1 upper shelf.
(b)
Install connector DB140 into the right part of the R/T mount.
(c)
Install two top and two bottom screws, nuts and washers to attach connector DB140 to the R/T mount.
(d)
Install connector DB138 into the left part of the R/T mount.
(e)
Install two top and two bottom screws, nuts and washers to attach connector DB138 to the R/T mount.

(f) Install all ground wires into ground terminal GD140 on the R/T mount using an insertion/extraction tool. (SWPM 20-20-11)
NOTE:____ Use the insertion/extraction tool for a Burndy terminal block with part number YHLZG8-1.

(h) (i) Install the left feeder waveguide between the waveguide switch and the R/T mount waveguide.Install the four screws and washers and a gasket to attach the left feeder waveguide to the R/T mount.
CAUTION: BE CAREFUL TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE WAVEGUIDE SWITCH
_______ WHEN THE SCREWS ARE TIGHTENED. IF YOU TIGHTEN THE SCREWS TOO MUCH, DAMAGE TO THE WAVEGUIDE SWITCH CAN OCCUR.
(j)
Install the four screws and washers and a gasket to attach the left feeder waveguide to the waveguide switch.
(k)
Install the right feeder waveguide between the waveguide switch and the R/T mount waveguide.
(l)
Install the four screws and washers and a gasket to attach the right feeder waveguide to the R/T mount.
CAUTION: BE CAREFUL TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE WAVEGUIDE SWITCH
_______ WHEN THE SCREWS ARE TIGHTENED. IF YOU TIGHTEN THE SCREWS TOO MUCH, DAMAGE TO THE WAVEGUIDE SWITCH CAN OCCUR.
(m) Install the four screws and washers and a gasket to attach the right feeder waveguide to the waveguide switch.

Make sure the R/T mount wire bundle is not damaged and is correctly attached to the R/T mount and E30 upper shelf.

Carefully install the E30-1 upper shelf into the E30 rack and align the mounting holes.
(p)
Install the six screws, washers and locknuts to connect the E30-1 upper shelf to the E30 rack.
CAUTION:_______ BE CAREFUL TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE TO THE WIRE
BUNDLES ON THE E30-1 UPPER SHELF. WHEN YOU INSTALL THE
E30-1 UPPER SHELF IN THE E30 RACK, DAMAGE TO THE WIRES CAN
