WARNING:_______ DO NOT OPERATE THE WEATHER RADAR WHILE FUEL IS ADDED OR
REMOVED FROM THE AIRPLANE. DO NOT TRANSMIT RF ENERGY
WHILE FUEL IS ADDED OR REMOVED IN AN AREA 200 FEET OR LESS
OF THE ANTENNA. THIS CAN CAUSE AN EXPLOSION.
DO NOT OPERATE THE WEATHER RADAR IN A HANGAR OR OTHER
ENCLOSURE. MAKE SURE NO PERSONS ARE IN THE AREA 15 FEET
OR LESS FROM THE ANTENNA WHEN IT TRANSMITS RF ENERGY. RF
ENERGY CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
(a)
Set these controls and switches on the WXR control panel as follows: 1) Set the mode selector switch to the WX position and make
sure the WXR message shows on the NDs. 2) Turn the antenna TILT control to get good radar targets on each ND.
(b)
Set the range switches on the captain's EFIS control panel to move the radar targets to the center of the captain's ND. 1) Make sure the captain's ND display is as follows:
a) The correct mode message shows for the mode selector switch on the WXR control panel. b) The correct antenna tilt message shows the TILT
selection on the WXR radar control panel. c) The correct half range message shows. d) Equally distance range arcs show for all ranges. e) Weather or ground targets are near the center of the
display.
(c)
Set the range switch on the captain's EFIS control panel to the range above the initial position. 1) Make sure the radar targets move to the bottom of the
captain's ND.
(d)
Set the range switch on the captain's EFIS control panel to a range below the initial position. 1) Make sure the radar targets move to the top of the
captain's ND.

Set the range switch on the captain's EFIS control panel to move the radar targets to the center of the captain's ND.Set the first officer's EFIS control panel range switches to move the radar targets to the center of the first officer's ND. 1) Make sure the first officer's ND display is as follows:
