Disconnect the electrical connector DB143B from the antenna connector J2.

Release the quick disconnect that holds the waveguide Section 1 to the antenna waveguide.
CAUTION: DO NOT LOOSEN THE BOLTS ON THE SUPPORT ASSEMBLY OR THE
_______ MOUNT ASSEMBLY DURING THE REMOVAL OF THE ANTENNA . THESE ARE ALIGNED AT THE FACTORY. IF THE MOUNT IS LOOSE OR NOT ALIGNED IN PITCH AND ROLL, DO THE WXR ANTENNA MOUNT MAINTENANCE PRACTICE IN AMM 34-43-09/201. IF THE MOUNT IS NOT ALIGNED IN AZIMUTH OR THERE IS STRUCTURE DAMAGE TO THE RADOME SUPPORT STRUCTURE, HAVE A BOEING AOG TEAM DO A SPECIAL PROCEDURE. TELL THE BOEING SEATTLE AOG OFFICE.
(d)
Remove the two bottom mount bolts and washers on the antenna.
(e)
Loosen the two top mount bolts on the antenna.

THE REMOVAL OF THE ANTENNA. THE ANTENNA WEIGHS
APPROXIMATELY 25 POUNDS.
BE CAREFUL WITH THE ANTENNA DURING THE REMOVAL. CAREFULLY REMOVE THE ANTENNA TO PREVENT INJURY TO YOU OR DAMAGE TO THE ANTENNA.
(f)
Lift the antenna up and forward of the two top mount bolts on the antenna.
(g)
Remove the antenna from the mount.

Put dust caps on the electrical connectors and waveguide flanges.

Ensure there are no cracks or damage to the mount assembly or support assembly.

(a) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7C7, WXR L RT
2) 7C19, WXR R RT

Open the nose radome (AMM 53-52-01/201).

Remove the antenna planar array:
CAUTION: DURING THE PLANAR ARRAY REMOVAL, PREVENT THE MOVEMENT OF
_______ THE ANTENNA DRIVE ASSEMBLY. THE PLANAR ARRAY WILL MOVE BECAUSE OF A TORQUE SPRING.
CAREFULLY REMOVE THE PLANAR ARRAY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO IT.
(a)
Remove the four screws and lockwashers that attach the waveguide flanges of the planar array and the drive assembly.
