Remove the covers from the air ducts on the R/T mount.

Remove the dust cap from waveguide section 5.

Install the waveguide switch:
NOTE: Replace the waveguide gaskets when they are defective.

(a)
Install the waveguide switch to the R/T mount.
(b)
Install the four screws and washers that attach the waveguide switch to the R/T mount.
(c)
Install the left feeder waveguide between the waveguide switch and the R/T mount waveguide.
(d)
Install the four screws and washers and a gasket to attach the left feeder waveguide to the R/T mount.
CAUTION: BE CAREFUL TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE WAVEGUIDE SWITCH
_______ WHEN THE SCREWS ARE TIGHTENED. IF YOU TIGHTEN THE SCREWS TOO MUCH, DAMAGE TO THE WAVEGUIDE SWITCH CAN OCCUR.
(e)
Install the four screws and washers and a gasket to attach the left feeder waveguide to the waveguide switch.
(f)
Install the right feeder waveguide between the waveguide switch and the R/T mount waveguide.
(g)
Install the four screws and washers and a gasket to attach the right feeder waveguide to the R/T mount.
CAUTION: BE CAREFUL TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE WAVEGUIDE SWITCH
_______ WHEN THE SCREWS ARE TIGHTENED. IF YOU TIGHTEN THE SCREWS TOO MUCH, DAMAGE TO THE WAVEGUIDE SWITCH CAN OCCUR.
(h)
Install the four screws and washers and a gasket to attach the right feeder waveguide to the waveguide switch.
(i)
Make sure the R/T mount wire bundle is not damaged and is correctly attached to the R/T mount and the E30 upper shelf.

CAUTION: BE CAREFUL TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE TO THE WIRE
_______ BUNDLES ON THE E30-1 UPPER SHELF. WHEN YOU INSTALL THE E30-1 UPPER SHELF IN THE E30 RACK, DAMAGE TO THE WIRES CAN OCCUR.
(j)
Carefully install the E30-1 upper shelf into the E30 rack and align the mounting holes.
(k)
Install the six screws, washers and locknuts to connect the E30-1 upper shelf to the E30 rack.
CAUTION: BE CAREFUL TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE WAVEGUIDE SWITCH
_______ WHEN THE SCREWS ARE TIGHTENED. IF THE SCREWS ARE TIGHTENED TOO MUCH THE WAVEGUIDE SWITCH HOUSING COULD WARP AND DAMAGE THE WAVEGUIDE SWITCH.
(l)
Install the four screws, washers and a gasket that attach the waveguide section 5 to the waveguide switch.
(m)
Connect the electrial connector DB139 to the waveguide switch.
(n)
Connect all ten wire bundle connectors to the correct mating connector on the AEO 302 disconnect panel.
NOTE: See Detail B for the correct mating connectors

(o)
Install the air hose to the left air inlet on the R/T mount.
(p)
Tighten the air hose clamp to the left hose and air inlet.
(q)
Install the air hose to the right air inlet on the R/T mount.
(r)
Tighten the air hose clamp to the right hose and air inlet.

Do this task to install the left WXR R/T in the E30 equipment rack: Weather Radar Receiver/Transmitter Installation (AMM 34-43-02/401).

Do this task to install the right WXR R/T into the E30 equipment rack: Weather Radar Receiver/Transmitter Installation. (AMM 34-43-02/401).
