I. Control
(1)
Turn on procedure
(a)
Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).
(b)
Make sure that these circuit breakers are closed:
1) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel a) NAV RADIO MMR-L b) NAV RADIO MMR-R c) NAV RADIO MMR-C d) ILS ANT SW L e) ILS ANT SW R f) ILS ANT SW C
(c)
Make sure that all interfacing systems are operational.
(d)
Make sure the inertial reference system (IRS) is aligned in the NAV mode (Ref 34-21-00/201).
(e)
Tune the ILS receivers to a valid ILS frequency.
(f)
Set the mode select switch on the EFIS control panel to the APP position.
(g)
Set the APP switch on the standby attitude/ILS indicator to the APP position.
(2)
Turn off procedure
(a)
Make sure that these circuit breakers are open:
1) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel a) NAV RADIO MMR-L b) NAV RADIO MMR-R c) NAV RADIO MMR-C d) ILS ANT SW L e) ILS ANT SW R f) ILS ANT SW C
(b)
Remove electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
NOTE: Be sure that the IRU's are turned off before removing
____ electrical power (AMM 34-21-00/501).
